We are a driving force for business and are active in the following areas:

• Voting recommendations for upcoming referenda and people’s initiatives
• Coordination and support of voting campaigns in the canton of Zug
• Preparation of position papers and statements relating to economic issues
• Participation in consultation procedures
• Discussions with public authorities, political bodies and interest groups
• Participation in cantonal commissions and work groups
• Presentations and panel discussions on economic policy issues

In economic issues being voted on at the cantonal and federal levels, we play a key role in local campaigning activities. We coordinate voting campaigns and take responsibility for forming committees, conducting PR campaigns, lobbying, fundraising and other important tasks.

To attract wider attention in the economic policy process, we work together with other associations in the canton of Zug and elsewhere.

Since January 1st, 2016, the Zug Chamber of Commerce is in charge of the economiesuisse-base in the canton of Zug. The Zug Chamber of Commerce thereby coordinates on behalf of economiesuisse National Ballot Campaigns in the canton of Zug. For more information, see campaigns.
